Greetings, HR CHADD Members! We hope you are enjoying this HOT summer.
We are looking forward to the 2016-2017 HR CHADD meetings and, of course, our CHADD Chats.
We want to let you know about some changes taking place this year.
Leadership Change: Mindy Katz, our intrepid leader over the past several years, has stepped down as Organizer so she can return to college and earn a master’s degree; however, we are thrilled that she will remain part of our team as we move forward. We wish you the best Mindy!
In her place is a new Leadership Team that includes Claudia P., Dee H., Mindy K., Richie B., and Mary S. (notice we are replacing the ONE with MANY – tough shoes to fill!
Calendar: We are currently working on the meeting calendar for the upcoming year.
Presenters: We hope to bring back some past presenters as well as new ones. This year we’re trying a new approach by having speakers present to us via live computer feed. We are excited about this because with technology we can reach a broader range of speakers. Our first meeting of the year features a presentation from a speaker in California.
Break-away Sessions: We’re continuing our approach of having 2 discussion groups after a speaker: one for families with children who have ADHD, and the other for adults with ADHD. We’re looking for someone with experience with families to lead the family break-away seasons.
If you would like to help with this in anyway we would love to hear from you.
Raffles and Door Prizes: Our hope is to have ADHD-related prizes to raffle off at each meeting.
CHADD Chats: We are brainstorming ideas for the upcoming year — stay tuned!
